This was my last week at the school. I did not have the necessity to assist the sixteen weeks due to I had a lot of work during this week and was replaceable with the assistance of the last week. I went to the school three days of this week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The reason for this was that the primary English teacher needed to accompany the 4th-grade students to a pedagogical meeting in a recreationist park. So, I replaced her with kinder garden, 4th, and 5th grades. On Wednesday, I had the same situation with the secondary English teacher with the difference that he was incapacitated until that day and it was impossible for him to go to school. In this sense, I planned classes with the correspondent grades of this day (8th and 9th).
As the 8th-grade students were not working on a specific topic I decided to follow the recommendation of the teacher to let them work on the textbook without making some activities before. One of those consisted of creating a story in small groups, each participant was in charge of a specific part of the story such as describing the protagonist, space, the time, what that character did and so on. After finishing this activity, the girls started to work on the textbook for the rest of the class.
In 9th-grade was almost the same but the warmup activity changed. this time we played a game called Mafia, in which every single participant plays a role in an imaginary town where citizens need to survive to the constant attacks of the gangsters. Then, the students worked on the textbook outside the classroom for the rest of the class.
Something important that happened during this day was the accompaniment I had to do with 7th-grade students. Since I was replacing the secondary English teacher during this day, I neede to stay with the scheduled groups. As I never had the opportunity to teach the 7th grade and the class was one hour long, I just made an activity of presentation with the students that helped me to know at least their names.
On Thursday the work was easy because the teacher just needed me to assess some worksheets of the 11th-grade students and to accompany him with 10th and 11th. This was basically the last day with secondary, so I decided to bring some candies to say bye to the students.
